Mr Afolabi Akanni who has been in detention at the Department of State Services was released and admitted at a private hospital in Abuja on Tuesday evening...
The Lawmaker who was very weak and could barely speak when Vanguard visited him at the hospital kept repeating that "I am not well. I am sick. I am sick". He said he was treated for malaria at the DSS detention facility after he collapsed two times. He added his release may not be unconnected with his deteriorating health situation.
